Subluxation are a combination of changes occurring at the same time.
5 Components of a Subluxation :
Bone: When a vertebrae is out of position and not moving properly which can cause degeneration.
Nerve: The malfunction of the nerve which control the muscles.
Muscle: Muscles hold vertebrae in place. Increased tension can be felt with a misaligned vertebrae.
Soft tissue: With misaligned vertebrae, pressure on the nerve results in changes of surrounding tendons, ligaments and blood supply.
Chemical: When all this is occurring the body goes thru some degree of chemical change known as inflammation. This chemical change can be mild to severe depending on the severity of the subluxation.
