Dr. Valente has been helping people with work injuries since 2007. Chiropractic care may reduce work absenteeism for back and neck pain, according to recent research. In a new survey, chiropractic patients tended to miss fewer work days compared to patients who hadn't seen a chiropractor.
In this 2013 study, 650 workers in Minnesota who reported back and/or neck pain were surveyed. The researchers discovered that most of those surveyed admitted that their back pain prompted them to lose work or caused them to makemistakes on the job.
The most interesting finding, however, was that the employees who saw a chiropractic physician had 58% fewer disability days than those who didn't see a chiropractor!
Many research studies report that chiropractic is the perfect way to manage and even prevent back pain, and that's what we've found here in our practice in Midtown East, NY.
